I’d rather end it now than slide into mediocrity — imagine if The Wire ended after season 4, Six Feet Under ended after season 3, or Arrested Development ended right before Michael met Rita.

June marks the beginning of a fruitful new phase of my life.

I hope I still have time for hobby projects from college, but I can't guarantee that.

I know that this will be disappointing news for many of you. Losing a technology that you rely on sucks. I'm sorry.

If you're looking for alternatives, check out this article from the good folks at The Kenyon Thrill on how to get a similar workflow in gmail itself using filters and labels. On campus, you can also do it the old-fashioned way.

I've received a few questions from younger students who weren't around before I built the site on top of the regular allstu, who weren't aware of the difference between the two.

For those students, let me be clear: I'm shutting down allstu2, but you can still send allstus. The allstu mailing list is run by the college, and anyone with a Kenyon email address can send a message to the list by sending an email to allstu@kenyon.edu. You can subscribe to the mailing list to receive all of the messages in your inbox. If you would prefer to browse the messages online, the college maintains the mailing list archives, as long as you only need to check it from on-campus and don't mind a slightly dated interface. Once again, the Thrill has a pretty good guide for setting up the allstu without flooding your inbox.

Thanks, folks! Keep in touch.
